World War 3

Everyone had been predicting World War 3 for many years, since at least 1941, before World War 2 would include the USA. But if I had to put a pin in it, World War 3 began a few years later, when the UN would appropriate a significant portion of land for the State of Israel. This almost instantly precipitated conflict, which has been ongoing from the declaration in 1948 to now. 75 years of warfare, peppered throughout with terrorism, massacres, and war crimes on all sides of chaos perpetual. Civilians and military alike, absorbed, tortured, and subjected to unending violence. The question is not when World War 3 began, but when and how will it end?

If it is in fact true that all wars stem from one root cause, and that is the lack of understanding, when can we say that this cause of war has been finally overcome? We think it is about weapons. It is actually a deeper issue. Peace will come when there are no more people willing to kill.

The last holdout will fall by the wayside in time, but how much time do we need to wait for this day to come?
