Q Report: May the 4th Be With You, Always
Filed from the Dusk Between Worlds. Transmission Clean. Light-Safe.
There has never been a final victory.
No battle, no bomb, no war cry has ever ended the eternal war between the dark and the light. It is not a war of armies, or of arms, but of choices. Not waged with lightsabers, but with words. It is older than any book, any god, any scream of a firstborn across the void. It is fought in kitchens. In classrooms. In courtrooms. On streets where the weak are mocked and the powerful lie. It is fought in silence and in song.
The dark side tells you it cannot be stopped. That it is inevitable. That greed is natural. That cruelty is survival. That the light is foolish, soft, weak.
But the light doesn’t shout.
The light wakes the child for school and holds them a little longer. The light helps a stranger in need. The light speaks up when everyone else is quiet. It doesn’t need to win, it only needs to endure. And it always has.
The darkness fears the light not because it can't be defeated—but because it cannot be destroyed.
For every torch snuffed, ten more are lit. For every lie shouted, ten truths are spoken. The flame passes from hand to hand in the shadows, carried by those who refuse to give in. Those who will not surrender to fear and despair.
This is the Force, as I’ve known it, not in media, legend, or scripture, but in the mud and grime of daily life. Not a religion, but a resistance. Not a magic, but a meditation.
So if today feels hopeless, if the Empire seems too strong, the Rebellion too scattered, the Senate too corrupt, know this:
The war is not over.
Because you are still in it.
And as long as you choose the light,
the light survives.
